Terms of Service

Last updated June 21, 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and Attestly for using the service. By creating an account or using Attestly, you agree to them.

1. The service

Attestly provides software that helps you answer security questionnaires by drafting responses from a library of your own approved answers. We may improve, change, or add features over time.

2. Your account

You must provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old and able to enter into a contract. Notify us promptly at hello@attestly.cloud if you suspect unauthorized use.

3. Plans, billing, and cancellation

  • Attestly offers a free plan and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through our payment processor, Stripe.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically each month until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from your billing settings; your plan stays active until the end of the paid period, and you won’t be charged again after that.
  • Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable for partial billing periods. We may change prices with reasonable notice; changes take effect on your next billing cycle.
  • Plans include usage limits (such as monthly AI generations). If you reach a limit, you can upgrade to continue.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Break the law or infringe anyone’s rights using Attestly.
  • Upload content you don’t have the right to use.
  • Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the service or other customers’ data.
  • Resell or sublicense the service without our written permission.

5. Your content and ownership

You own the content you put into Attestly — your library answers, questionnaires, and the drafts generated for you. You grant us only the limited license needed to host and process that content in order to provide the service to you. We don’t claim ownership of your content and we don’t use it to train AI models.

6. AI-generated drafts — your responsibility to review

Attestly produces drafts to help you answer faster. AI and automated matching can make mistakes. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and approving every answer before you send it to a customer or rely on it. Security questionnaires can be binding representations about your company, and Attestly does not warrant that any generated answer is accurate, complete, or suitable for your situation.

7. Our intellectual property

Attestly, including its software, design, and branding, belongs to us. These terms don’t give you any right to our intellectual property beyond using the service as intended.

8. Third-party services

Attestly relies on third parties (for example, hosting, payments, and optional AI providers). Your use of the service may also be subject to those providers’ terms. We’re not responsible for third-party services we don’t control.

9. Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We don’t warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that drafts will be accurate.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Attestly will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

11. Termination

You can stop using Attestly and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms or use the service in a way that risks harm to others. On termination, your right to use the service ends; sections that by their nature should survive (such as ownership, disclaimers, and liability limits) will continue to apply.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves. If we make material changes, we’ll update the “last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continuing to use Attestly after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of France, without regard to conflict of law rules. Nothing here removes mandatory consumer protections you may have where you live.
